1 year

Chloe turned one on Friday, and we celebrated Saturday and Sunday. She got this cute dress from her grandma, so I had to get pictures of her in it.

Cooking is so much fun!!!

Such an angel.

She likes to sit on anything that is raised up that she can reach.

This was actually on the first, when she turned one. I can't believe the a year has gone by, that she was so tiny a year ago. She weighed in at 20 lbs. 13 oz., 29 1/4 in. long. For both of those, she is average. Her head is bigger than average though. I don't know if it is actually big, or just the hair getting in the way.

We celebrated with my side of the family on Saturday. I was told we had 27 in attendance throughout the day.

Chloe doesn't quite know how to blow the candle out, so she had help.

She loves pushing things around. So a stroller was a great gift. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa.

We got her pots, pans, and utinsels to play with, so she won't steal mine, I hope.

Daniel headed out to New York for work Sunday. We will miss him.

Those of us young party animals stayed up playing nertz until we were too tired to keep going. We always have fun together.

We celebrated with Luis's side on Sunday. Chloe loves to play with the dishes. We were happy when Abuelo and Abuela got this for her. Now she can cook just like Daddy, and me if you can't that as cooking.

She also got cute clothes and shoes from her aunts, and her name in cute frames from uncle Todd and aunt Claudia.

On Sunday, I decided she was going to do something different with her cake than just blow out the candle.

She got to destroy it. It was so cute to see her do it. She didn't like having the frosting stuck to her at first, but then she got more into it.

She even got to eat some. She seemed to like the cake, since it was really the first time she got to eat sugar.

She got this pool from Aunt Stace and Uncle Shane. We will have lots of fun with it this summer.
